The Old Bus Depot Markets in Kingston began life as a 1940s wartime bus shed. Six days a week, it stands empty. Only on Sundays does it come alive.
Since 2015, I have walked into this shed every Sunday with a camera. The frames hold no products, only people — stallholders who haven't moved in thirty years, first-time makers, families pushing prams, regulars who come alone for a bowl of soup. Most of them don't know each other, yet under the same roof they share a rhythm that belongs only to Sunday.
